Limestone, Travrtine

Limestone is a sedimentary rock, composed mainly of skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral, forams and moluscs. You can find clam, snail shells and other fossils what makes these itself pleasant and warm looking stones unique and special. The limestone’s appearance depends on the direction of the cut (crosscut = “cloudy”, or weincut = “striped”)and the surface treatment. Usable in almost every type of buildings, thanks to its variety of colors.

If you choose limestone, or travertine:

  • We are selling Türkish, Roman and Hungarian (Süttői) travertine.

  • Sensitive for the direct frost and UV radiance.
